Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of SocialOTT. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

The Service

SocialOTT provides movie and series discovery tools, including catalog browsing, composite scores, community ratings, and Social Buzz summaries. Features may differ between Free and Premium plans. Social Buzz is Audience & Social Buzz Reviewers–curated and provided for informational purposes; it may be incomplete or updated over time.

Accounts

• You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country). If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian’s permission to use paid features.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate law or third-party rights.
• Post spam, harassment, hate, illegal content, or personal data of others without consent.
• Scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service except as allowed by law.
• Interfere with ads, security, or access controls, or attempt to access other users’ accounts.
• Misrepresent scores, forge reviews, or manipulate Social Buzz signals.

User content

You retain ownership of ratings and comments you submit. You grant SocialOTT a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and moderate that content in connection with the Service. We may hide or remove content that violates these Terms.

Third-party names and trademarks

Platform score labels (for example IMDb, Rotten Tomatoes, Metacritic) and other brand names may appear where a published rating or highlight is attributed. Those names and marks belong to their owners. SocialOTT is not affiliated with or endorsed by those services unless stated.

Subscriptions and ads

• Premium is billed through Stripe under the plan shown at checkout. Cancel anytime; access continues through the paid period unless otherwise stated.
• Free plans may display advertising, including Google AdSense. Premium is marketed as ad-free for normal browsing.
• Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated at purchase.

Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, accuracy of every published score, or completeness of Social Buzz for every title.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SocialOTT and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) USD $50.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using SocialOTT at any time.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after the updated date means you accept the changes. Material changes may be highlighted on the site or by email when appropriate.
